Engineers, artists, designers, architects, hobbyists and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or enviroments will find Arduino an exceptionally useful platform. This inexpensive microcontroller can accept inputs from a wide variety of sensors and output to a computer or a variety of motors, switches and actuators. It is an open-source electronics prototyping platform, based on a fleixble, easy-to-use license, can be adapted by users to a wide vareity of uses. Participants will learn to set up electrical circuits and program Arduino devices.
Students MUST enroll 5 business days prior to the course start date, the final day to register without paying a $15 late fee for all classes in the Spring 2014 semester is January 27th.
