This Certificate is designed for architects, engineers, artists and professionals of related fields. The Certificate Program comprises an introduction as well as advanced courses in 3-D digital modeling, spatial modeling, physical computation and interaction, as well as digital fabrication. Each course will include exercises to enable students to develop a project within their own discipline or crossing boundaries among several disciplines. The emphasis is on the development of individual strategies to organize and manipulate two -and three-dimensional forms. Students may enroll in any of the courses individually; the Certificate requires completion of four courses. Some advanced courses will require previous completion of introductory courses.
